Method and formula
Line endings are normalized to LF. Horizontal whitespace can be collapsed to one ordinary space; line trimming and removal of all blank lines are independent options. The result preview is the text you can copy or download.
Limits and supported input
Whitespace can be significant in code, poetry, Markdown and tables. Tabs become spaces when collapsing is enabled. Keep a copy of your original before cleaning structured text.
Privacy
This tool processes the input in your current browser tab. It does not upload your input or call a paid or remote API. Copying places text on your system clipboard; downloading saves a file on your device. Site hosting logs, analytics, ads, third-party embeds and other installed plugins are separate and can have their own data handling. JavaScript is required for the tool, while this explanation remains available without it.
