Method and formula
Upper and lower modes use browser Unicode case mapping. Title mode capitalizes letter-led words after lowercasing. Sentence mode capitalizes the first letter and letters after sentence punctuation followed by whitespace or after a line break.
Limits and supported input
Sentence and title modes are mechanical. They do not preserve proper names, acronyms or language-specific editorial conventions. Some case mappings expand a letter to more than one character. Always review your output.
Privacy
This tool processes the input in your current browser tab. It does not upload your input or call a paid or remote API. Copying places text on your system clipboard; downloading saves a file on your device. Site hosting logs, analytics, ads, third-party embeds and other installed plugins are separate and can have their own data handling. JavaScript is required for the tool, while this explanation remains available without it.
